Batteries don't die suddenly — they show warning signs. If you notice any of these, it's time to act.

The 5 warning signs

  • Backup time dropping: If your UPS used to give 4 hours and now gives 1 hour, the battery is failing.
  • Swollen battery case: This is dangerous. Stop using it immediately and replace.
  • Takes too long to charge: A healthy battery charges in 4-6 hours. If it takes 10+, internal cells are damaged.
  • Smells bad or leaks: Only happens with lead-acid. Replace right away.
  • Gets very hot while charging: Bad sign for any battery type.
For lithium batteries, a simple capacity test at our Lahore office takes 15 minutes and is free for our customers.

Can it be repaired?
