Search for a stabilizer price in Pakistan and you will find listings from a few thousand rupees to a few lakh for what looks like the same unit. The spread is not marketing — it is what's inside. Here is what actually decides the price, and how to get your exact number in minutes instead of guessing from listings.
What decides the price of a real stabilizer
- Winding metal. The transformer is most of the cost. Copper carries more current, runs cooler and lasts decades; aluminium is why one "10 kVA" unit costs half of another. Every Voltec unit is 100% copper.
- Real vs printed kVA. A rating on a sticker costs nothing. A unit that holds its output at full load at low input costs real money — ask for the full-load test report.
- Input range. Correcting from 150 V is standard. Correcting from 120 V — or from 100 V in severe-sag areas — needs a physically bigger transformer, and that is what you pay for.
- Service. A stabilizer is a 10-year machine. A brand that services its own units prices that support in; a container importer does not.

Two honest reasons. Copper and freight move, so a printed list goes stale and then someone pays last month's price. And for anything above a single appliance, the right unit depends on your load and your area's real voltage — a flat listing price for a built-to-order 50 kVA unit is a guess dressed as a number. How to get your price in minutes
- For an AC or fridge: WhatsApp the appliance (e.g. "1.5 ton inverter AC") and your area — we confirm the right model and today's rate.
- For a home or solar inverter: send your inverter size or a photo of your meter/load — an engineer sizes it and quotes.
- For a factory or tender: send the load sheet or BOQ — written quote with specifications, same day.
