Most stabilizers cut off below 150V. This one starts working at 60V. It is a 30kVA single-phase servo stabilizer for the weakest lines in the country — the factory areas of Faisalabad, Karachi and Lahore, Peshawar, Swabi and Mardan, and Gilgit and Skardu, where voltage drops all day and machines stall. A servo motor sweeps a slider across a 100% pure copper autotransformer and holds a steady 220V from 60V all the way up to 250V. Copper windings only, no aluminium. This is a single-phase unit, not three-phase.
