How to choose: check your night-time voltage
The only question that matters is: how low does your voltage drop at night? Ask a neighbour with a meter, or message us on WhatsApp — we will tell you what your area typically sees. Above 150V, the R2 is enough. Between 120V and 150V, take the R3. Below 120V, only the R4 will keep your AC running.
Why cheap stabilizers cost more in the end
A bazaar stabilizer at half the price usually has an aluminium winding and a narrow input range — meaning it stops correcting exactly when the voltage sags hardest. When that happens, your AC compressor takes the hit. A burned compressor costs more than the best stabilizer.
