Search for EVE cells in Pakistan and you will find a dozen sellers describing themselves as authorised, official, or a direct dealer. The words are used loosely. Almost none of these sellers will show you a document if you ask, because in most cases there is nothing to show.
This page explains what authorisation actually means, states our own position plainly, and gives you the four checks that separate a real distributor from a reseller with good branding.
Voltec's position
Voltec Appliances is an authorised EVE cell distributor in Pakistan. We have been manufacturing voltage stabilizers here since 1995, and we supply genuine EVE LiFePO4 cells to battery pack assemblers and dealers across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
What "authorised" actually means
There are three genuinely different positions in this market, and it is worth knowing which one you are dealing with:
- Authorised distributor. Formally appointed, in writing, by the manufacturer or by an authorised upstream distributor, usually for a defined territory. Supply is traceable to the factory.
- Direct importer. Buys genuine cells and imports them itself, without a formal appointment. This can be perfectly legitimate and the cells can be perfectly genuine — it is simply a different relationship.
- Reseller. Buys from whoever has stock locally. Often has no reliable idea of the cells' origin, which is where Grade B stock sold as Grade A enters the market.
None of these is automatically dishonest. What matters is that the seller tells you which one they are, and can prove it.
The four things to ask for
Send these four requests to any seller before you pay. It takes two minutes and it will thin the field fast.
- 1. The appointment document. An authorisation letter or certificate naming the seller, and naming who appointed them. "We are authorised" in a WhatsApp message is not a document.
- 2. The upstream supplier. Who did this stock come from — EVE directly, or a named authorised distributor? A seller who cannot name their own supply chain does not control it.
- 3. The batch test report. Per-cell capacity and internal resistance for the specific cartons you are buying. Routine paperwork, not a favour.
- 4. The grade, written on the invoice. If a seller will say Grade A on the phone but will not put it on paper, you have learned what you needed to know.
Authorisation is not a substitute for checking
This is the part most distributor pages leave out. Authorisation tells you about the supply chain. It does not tell you what is inside the specific carton in front of you — cartons get swapped, stock gets mixed, and paperwork gets reused.
Verify the cells as well as the seller. Scan the QR codes, count the characters, check for the B mark and confirm the safety valve is present.
